FAQs

What does a normal session look like?

Each session is built around a short talk (10-20 mins), and an opportunity to discuss Christianity in a small group (40+ mins). Sometimes we’ll have people sharing about how they became a Christian, we’ll have question times etc.

What should I wear?

Whatever you like. It’ll be pretty casual.

What if I’m not Christian?

Everyone is welcome. In fact, the course is for you. You don’t need to know anything about the bible. Whether you’re Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Atheist, or anything else, you will be treated with courtesy and respect. You can ask any question you like or you can just sit and listen.

Will I be told to convert?

Well… yes. We believe that the Good News is for everyone, so we will do our best to persuade you that it’s for you. But we won’t pressure you. The bible says that Christians must renounce disgraceful and underhanded ways (2 Corinthians 4:2), so we won’t do anything to manipulate or coerce you. We won’t be offended if you don’t want to become a Christian, or you need more time to process. Our aim is to tell you the truth as clearly as we can and then leave it up to you to respond.

What denomination are you?

We belong to the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches. Our aim is to present Jesus Christ clearly to everyone by opening up the bible with them. We have people who come from Baptist, Presbyterian, Anglican and other denominations, or even no particular denomination.

Is it Covid safe?

Absolutely. We are taking the Governments guidelines very seriously.
